Thanks for using Simple Workout!

This document covers the Privacy Policy("Policy") of the Simple Workout App ("App"), including how your information is collected and stored. The developers of this app ("I", "we", "us", "our", "Company") take your privacy seriously, and encourage you to read this document carefully so you're fully aware of what you're signing up for. 

If you don't agree with any of the conditions herein, please do not use the App.

Data Collection

When first signing up for the App, you will be required to provide an email address and create a password. If you lose access to your email, you will lose access to the App and any information you may have stored within the app. The password you've created can be reset if you've forgotten it using the link provided on the login page of the App. You agree that it's your responsibility to keep your password secure, and more generally, not disclose it to any third party.

The App uses Google's Firebase service ("Firebase") to store and manage your email and password. Since Google may be using servers all over the world in providing Firebase, your data may be processed, stored and used outside the country in which you are located. We encourage you to find out more about about Firebase at firebase.google.com and review their policies around data storage, process and collection to ensure you are comfortable with its use in the App. 

You will also be asked to provide a Profile Name when first signing up for the App. This information is NOT collected by us and is only stored on your device. It's only being asked of you so your experience of the App can be personalised.

Your Workout Data

Data about the workouts you perform ("Workout Data") are stored only on your device, and belong to you. This is done so that you are in maximal control of your own data. However, this also means that if you were to lose your device or delete the App, we cannot retrieve or restore your historical Workout Data, and your data will be lost. Future versions of the App may support backup of your Workout Data to iCloud, but at this time there is no backup of your Workout Data.

Analytics

We may choose to use Firebase to analyse how the App is being used.

Use of your Data

Your email will primarily be used by us to communicate with you in the event that you experience problems while using the App. However, from time to time, we might reach out to you at a the email you've provided to inform you of enhancements or changes in the App's features, new versions of the App, or to market other apps developed by us. 

Deleting your Data

The "Profile" tab in the App has a button that allows you to delete your profile. Deleting the app from your device will delete all the Workout Data you've stored. 

Policy Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time at our website. We reserve the right to change this policy at our discretion with no prior notice provided to you. You agree to be bound by the latest terms posted at our website.
